South Orange, NJ – Seton Hall Athletics and Recreation Director bryan felt ’97, MA ’05 announced the promotion of four members of the division and reorganized the division’s senior leadership and sports management roles.

Peterson joins Felt’s senior leadership team and is currently responsible for overseeing the division’s overall management of budget operations, which includes financial reporting, long-term and capital planning, forecasting, internal controls, business operations systems and contract management. In addition to his financial management responsibilities, Peterson oversees the division’s human resources and is the sports manager for the volleyball, men’s golf, and women’s golf programs.
Prior to this new role, Peterson held a variety of responsibilities within the department over a career of more than 20 years at Seton Hall Athletics, most recently serving as Assistant Director of Athletics for Business Affairs, responsible for all business financial operations.
Chen also joins the senior leadership team and is currently responsible for all external divisions of the department, including communications, marketing, ticketing and the department’s corporate sponsorship partnership with Learfield.
Chen has been with Seton Hall since 2014 and most recently holds the title of Assistant Director of Athletics, Digital Media and Communications, and is the division’s broadcast and creative services division, Pirate, in addition to media relations, website, email communications, and social media. manages. After a year as an administrative assistant in the athletics department, Panepinto moves into the business office helping the senior leadership team with compliance, travel operations, development and business management. Now, he has been tasked with managing all the business operations of the department.
Kelly has been promoted with the Pirates since September 2017, first as assistant track coach and then to senior assistant track coach. In addition to working closely with the men’s soccer, men’s and women’s swimming and diving and tennis teams, Kelly helps ensure that the training room’s sports medicine operates under the guidance of Seton Hall University’s mission to provide the highest quality evidence-based healthcare. student-athletes.
In addition to promotions, Felt reorganized the division’s sports administrative duties.
