The name of the living risk is the new executive

Alive Risk recently announced the appointment of Richard Rutkin as a relationship and marketing executive. Ryan is a managing general underwriter for Alive Risk, which underwrites entertainment, sports and entertainment exposures.

In his new role, Rutkin will be responsible for ensuring “execution of product marketing strategy” and “maintaining relationships with carriers, retailers and wholesalers,” according to a press release announcing his appointment.

Rutkin joins the Alive Risk team with over 30 years of relevant experience, particularly in property, casualty and special contingency insurance. He owned and operated his own wholesale brokerage firm for 25 years, focusing on serving the entertainment and sports industries.

HOMELINK appoints Kim Radcliffe in new role

HOMELINK named Kim Radcliffe, MHA, PT as the newest member of its senior leadership team, appointing it Senior Vice President of Clinical and Product Strategy.

Radcliffe’s work in the workers’ compensation industry spans 16 years, including a background in physical therapy. Additionally, Radcliffe’s work includes various leadership roles, including clinical product development, network development and operations.

“Kim is a great fit for our company culture,” said Matt Waller, president of HomeLink. “His strong background in clinical operations, drive for constant learning and improvement, and tremendous passion for patient-centered care will be an excellent addition to the HomeLink team.”

QBE North America promotes Michael Foley

QBE North America recently announced the promotion of Michael Foley to President of Commercial Insurance. He most recently served as Chief Underwriting Officer within QBE’s commercial casualty business.

In his new role, Foley, an industry veteran, will also be a member of the QBE North America Executive Management Board. Additionally, Foley will be “responsible for planning, directing and executing for the line of business,” according to a press release.

Foley will lead the development of divisional strategy as well as the cultivation of strong business partner and customer relationships.

“We are excited to advance Mike in this new role,” said QBE North America CEO Todd Jones. “With decades of experience in the commercial insurance market, he has proven his ability as a leader in building high-performing teams, delivering solutions for clients and building a top-quality book of business.”

Mosaic announced additions to the Board of Directors

Mosaic Insurance recently announced that it has named Jennifer Zhu to its board of directors

Zhu currently serves as a principal at Golden Gate Capital. Additionally, he serves as a member of Golden Gate Capital’s financial services team, covering investments in various specialty markets. These include insurance, wealth and asset management and fintech.

“I’m thrilled to officially welcome Jane to the board, especially as we celebrate International Women’s Day today,” said Caroline Foulger, Mosaic’s board chair, on the day of the announcement.

“Jane has been a regular participant on the Board since Mosaic’s inception, and her formal appointment is a reflection of her valuable contributions over the past two years.”

“Zen has worked closely with us in her capacity at Golden Gate Capital since our launch, so it’s fitting that she now joins the board in a more formal capacity and brings valuable knowledge and expertise to the role,” said Mosaic Co-CEO Mitch Blaser.

Tracy Ryan has been named Chief Regions and Markets Officer, AGCS

Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty (AGCS) has appointed Tracey Ryan as Chief Region and Market Officer for North America.

Ryan previously served as a board member and president of North America Global Risk Solutions for Liberty Mutual Insurance Group. He brings nearly 30 years of industry and leadership experience to his new role with AGCS.

Ryan succeeds William (Bill) Scaldafferi who has worked with Allianz for the past 23 years.

“I am very pleased to welcome Tracy as Bill’s successor,” said Joachim Müller, CEO of AGCS.

“He brings a unique combination of leadership skills and deep expertise to our sector, from technical underwriting to client and broker delivery in North America and globally. I am confident that he will build on the excellent foundation that Bill and his team have built in the region, a large part of AGCS’s global business.” And
